Our Cason Lane Taco Bell in Murfreesboro, TN recently reached a very impressive milestone: admission into Taco Bell’s Founders’ Club! To join, Cason Lane had to achieve 62 consecutive days of positive, year-over-year transaction growth. It was a test they passed with flying colors!
Why 62 days? The seemingly random number was actually chosen to honor the year Taco Bell was founded: 1962!
Believing in Bruno
Cason Lane’s accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of their fearless leader, Restaurant General Manager (RGM) Bruno Kapapi. Bruno began at MRCO in 2009 as a Food/Service Champion. He stayed in that role for a number of years while helping to care for his children. When he had more time in his schedule, he was promoted to Assistant General Manager (AGM), a position he held for four years. And finally, just 13 months ago, Bruno was promoted to RGM!
Professional development is a priority to RGM Bruno Kapapi, who pushes his team to be better every day.
Given Cason Lane’s induction into the Founders’ Club, it’s safe to say that Bruno has already made big strides in his new role. In the last year, he made sure to get one-on-one time with each Cason Lane team member. He asked about their concerns and any ideas they had for improving their work environment. Taking their feedback to heart, he got to work improving the culture of the restaurant.
Making a Great Place to Work
Bruno has a special gift: the ability to lift others up. His leadership has brought our Cason Lane Taco Bell to the next level — and made his team members excited to come to work! When asked just how he creates such a welcoming, positive environment, Bruno shares that maintaining close contact with people at every level of the team makes all the difference.
In Bruno’s experience, transparency has always been for the better. Most recently, he kept everyone at Cason Lane closely updated as they tracked toward Founders’ Club status, which gave them an exciting, shared goal to work towards!
“People enjoy working here, and I’m really proud of that.”

Bruno also boosts morale by reminding his team that if they’re ever overwhelmed at work, they don’t need to go it alone:
“The person you work with should be able to help you out,” he shares, adding that every one of his team members deserves to feel supported.
Excitement Ahead
We can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Cason Lane — and Bruno! The RGM has aspirations of moving up at MRCO, but says he will leave that decision up to leadership — his numbers, he shares, will say everything. So far, they’re saying a lot!
